About Emerging Destinations

We represent cool companies in cool places.  We love that people say “Wow, do you need an assistant? What a cool job.”  We provide sales & marketing representation for lodges, DMC’s and long-haul destinations based in “developing”  areas of the world, focusing on the travel trade.

Education is key to what we do, because most travelers aren’t aware of the ins and outs of the destinations we sell – South Asia, Eastern and Southern Africa and Southern Patagonia. Our services include:  sales calls to the travel trade, trade show representation, comprehensive audit of existing marketing materials, creation and distribution of electronic newsletters, web training seminars and assistance with public relations, advertising and social media.  Each client is unique, so our strategies are customized to suit specific needs.  What they have in common are strong conservation programs and/or foundations to assist local people and a high-end clientele.

Operations:  We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boulder Co and associates all around North America.  While our client services primarily cover North America, we often sell to our global contacts too.
