Australis , Cape Horn & Patagonia Cruises offers expedition trips to the end of the world to explore the southernmost regions of South America including Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego and Cape Horn, one of the few unspoiled destinations on the planet. We are the only expedition cruise lines exploring these areas. From September to April of each year, Australis offers a four-night itinerary from Punta Arenas, Chile, to Ushuaia, Argentina on both ships and three-night and four-night itineraries from Ushuaia, Argentina, to Punta Arenas, Chile.
A cruise with Australis is an all-inclusive experience (with one exception, kayaking) including breakfast, lunch and dinner, and open bar for wine, beer, liquor and other beverages. The menu combines international cuisine and local recipes to highlight the delicious and varied regional fare. Passengers will also enjoy local Chilean and Argentinean wines.
Australis employs two ships- The Via Australis and the Stella Australis. The Via was built in 2005 and can hold up to 136 passengers while offering 64 comfortable cabins. With a deck, entertainment, and beautiful cabins, the Via Australis allows each tourist to have the best Chile travel experience possible. The Stella was constructed in 2010 and has a capacity of 210 passengers luxuriating in 100 cabins, each 177 square feet, and will feature a number of first class comforts. Travelers will enjoy three lounges equipped with modern audiovisual equipment, a dining room and an exercise room, as well as a spacious deck allowing for unobstructed views of the spectacular scenery. Cabin highlights include picture windows, independent climate controls, private bathrooms and a satellite phone. The five decks of both ships include two lounges and a dining room.
