Coming to an Ocean Near You . . .

grimsey8mai2012IPC has tweaked some of the routes and itineraries for next year, including the addition of a new port-of-call on the “Iceland Circumnavigation” route!

Instead of docking two nights in Akureyri, the Ocean Diamond we will now spend one night anchored off Grimsey, a tiny island about 25 miles north of the Icelandic mainland. Just above the Arctic Circle, Grimsey is uninhabited by humans but boasts plenty of bird life.

And please note that we are no longer offering the “On the Trail of the Vikings” route. Those time slots are being filled with more “Iceland Circumnavigation” departures, but we’ve added a twist — an extra day in Reykjavik. Our grand finale for the 2017 season is a new version of “Northern Lights and Whales” which features a cruise up Iceland’s west coast on the Ocean Diamond followed by a road trip across southern Iceland. There’s still availability on this 6-day/7-night combination trip.
