Cruising Up The Cóndor

April 6, 2017 - Less than a minute read

Spectacular but seldom-seen Cóndor Glacier in Tierra del Fuego is one of the highlights of the new four-night “Patagonian Explorer” route that Australis cruises will sail at the bottom of South America staring with the 2017-18 season.

Renowned for its rich bird life, the narrow fjord ends in a spectacular tidewater glacier that tumbles down from the Cordillera Darwin Icefield in Alberto de Agostini National Park.

Running between Ushuaia (Argentina) and Punta Arenas (Chile), the voyage will be undertaken by the brand new Ventus Australis, a state-of-the-art adventure cruise ship and the latest edition to the Australis fleet.
