A huge congratulations to Las Torres’ bartender Federico Gil for his excellent performance in the recent Capel Puro Talento: Torneo Nacional de Mixología y Flair, a national bartending competition that matches cocktail makers from around the nation. Federico shook and stirred his way to second place in the Mixology category and will now represent Chile in the PanAmerican Mixology contest in Colombia. We’re very proud to have Frederico on our team at the Bar Pionero. We love his passion for his drinks, the national park and the hotel.
We would give you the recipe for his award-winning drink called “Indómito”, but it won’t be easy for amateurs. Ingredients include Pisco Capel Double Distillate 40°, macerated in Paramela and filtered using activated carbon made from the wood of the Calafate plant, Artisanal beer (homemade preparation), Giffard Elderflower syrup & barley water. We are trying to have him modify the recipe for us!
