IPC Announces 2017 Rates and Itineraries

A few changes are coming in 2017 including a new port on the “Iceland Circumnavigation” route! Instead of docking two nights in Akureyri, the Ocean Diamond we will now spend one night anchored off Grimsey, a tiny island about 25 miles north of the Icelandic mainland. Just above the Arctic Circle, Grimsey is uninhabited by humans but boasts plenty of bird life.

Please note that we are no longer offering the “On the Trail of the Vikings” itinerary. Those time slots are being filled with more “Iceland Circumnavigation” departures, but we’ve added a twist — an extra day in Reykjavik. We finish off the 2017 season with a new version of “Northern Lights and Whales” which includes a cruise around western Iceland on the Ocean Diamond and then a coach journey across southern Iceland.
