Architect’s rendering of the Sky Lounge on the Ventus.

But soon! That’s because around six months from now, our new expedition cruise ship Ventus Australis will finally be launched at the Asenav shipyard on the Calle-Calle River in Valdivia, Chile.

Snatch a sneak peek at the latest addition to our fleet by watching the video, browsing the architectural renderings and checking out the facts & figures on our Ventus Australis web page.

Named after the Latin term for “Southern Wind,” the state-of-the-art ship is scheduled to go into service in early 2018. Custom-made for exploring the remote waterways of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, all aspects of the 210-passenger vessel are designed to give Ventus the extreme maneuverability necessary to navigate narrow fjords and channels where larger cruise ships cannot venture.
