Tanzania VAT Update – No Change to Elewana Collection Accomodation Rates

As you know the Government of the Republic of Tanzania has announced that as of the 1st July 2016 VAT will now be charged on some tourism services.The Elewana Collection is acutely aware of the disruption that unplanned changes to taxation cause our trade partners and to your business.

We at the Elewana Collection have decided to absorb the cost impact of the new VAT regulations for all confirmed, provisional and future accommodation through to the end of 2017. We hope this assists in simplifying your booking process with us and will be seen in the spirit of partnership that it is intended.

Please note that you do not have to send early deposit payment before the end of this month in order to benefit from this decision. Your normal Terms and Conditions regarding payment continue to apply without disruption.

We’d like to draw your attention to the fact that our 2016 rates have been held through 2017. Should you require rates please contact me on james.haigh@elewana.com

Park Fees
Are not included in either our Full Board or Game Package Rates. Unfortunately these incremental costs are beyond our control and the cost will need to be borne by our trade partners and mutual clients for any arrivals on or after 1st July 2016.
