Uganda Slashes Visa and Gorilla Trekking Fees

March 1, 2017 - Less than a minute read

In a move to promote tourism, the Uganda government has slashed the price of a single entry visa to US$50 (down from US$100).

Uganda issues other types of tourist visas, including multiple and transit permits. The fees for these visas have not been revised. The decision to slash single entry fees was reached after a request by officials from Uganda Tour Operators.

The visa free reduction coincides with a discounted price of $450 for gorilla permits for visits during the months April and May of 2017. Please contact us for more information (sales@adventureconsults.com or jane@emergingdestinations.com) or log onto https://visas.immigration.go.ug.
