Scheduled to launch next year, ANIMA River Cruises in Argentina will offer all-inclusive, three- and four-night itineraries between Iguazú Falls and Posadas, covering around 300 km (186 miles) of the Upper Paraná River between Argentina and Paraguay in the South Atlantic Rainforest.
The itinerary combines the world famous waterfalls with the UNESCO World Heritage Jesuit mission ruins and the lush Misiones rainforest, plus the region’s indigenous Guaraní and Criollo traditions.
The vessel is a European-built ship for 128 guests in 64 cabins, currently undergoing a full refit in the Netherlands to a five-star standard comparable to the world’s leading river cruises. Delivery is expected in early 2027 with cruises commencing in October of next year.
On board, everything is arranged around the landscape: an open sun deck facing the river, a restaurant with a terrace over the water, and quiet spaces for reading and rest. A panoramic interior lounge, an outdoor pool and solarium, a wine bar and a boutique complete an experience conceived for the discerning international traveler.
Sixty-four cabins with floor-to-ceiling windows keep the river always in view, while 360° panoramas turn every moment of navigation into part of the journey. Meals, drinks and excursions are included in the fare.
