As per the latest official update, all international travelers coming to Ecuador must present proof of having received the complete schedule of COVID19 vaccine 14 days or more prior to their arrival in the country OR a negative COVID19 test taken up to 72 hours before their arrival.
The same requirements apply to visitors to the Galapagos Islands. In the case of non-vaccinated travelers who will remain on mainland Ecuador for some time before going to Galapagos, they should take into consideration that the COVID19 test expires after 72 hours and therefore, they must take another test locally within 72 hours of their arrival in Galapagos.
