In addition, the movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga with Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams was filmed on location in Husavik.
Seydisfjordur: The East Fjords region provides an impossibly picturesque setting for a port nestled between the sea and steep mountains. Activities include seal spotting, horseback riding, and visiting Skalanes nature reserve.
Westman Islands: We go ashore on Heimaey, the only inhabited island, where half-buried houses remain from a violent 1973 volcanic eruption.
