If you’ve already made like a Viking and cruised around Iceland, make your second trip to the fabled North Atlantic island a land-based adventure organized by Iceland ProTours.

The sister company of Iceland ProCruises offers a number of individual vacations in Iceland including Self Drive, Northern Lights, City Breaks, Golf and other special interest travel. No matter how unique you interests are, IPT has the experience to make your visit to Iceland unforgettable.

Here’s a sample of what they have to offer:

Golf

Does playing golf at midnight surrounded by a lava field with glaciers in the distance sound too strange to be true? Not in Iceland! The wealth of wide-open space surrounded by incredible nature reserves makes golfing in Iceland an unforgettable experience.

Midnight golf is only available in summer due to Iceland’s northerly location. Sweeping mountain and ocean landscapes characterize Icelandic golf courses. Many courses have been laid out with minimal disturbance to existing terrain and in harmony with nature.

Fifteen 18-hole courses and 50 9-hole courses are open to visitors. And you can even sign up to play in the Arctic Open, an international event that attracts golfers from all over the world, hosted by Akureyri Golf Club.
Iceland ProTravel specializes in organizing golf holidays for individuals, families, groups and couples, including a wide range of golf packages tailored-made to individual interests.
