Most people picture a safari as one thing: a Land Cruiser at dawn, binoculars, a lion on a kopje. And yes, that’s part of it. But across Atua Enkop’s five camps, there’s an understanding that there are really many experiences within a safari.
There is the fast safari: the early wake-up, the long game drive, the chase. The thrill of tracking a leopard through thick bush, or arriving at the river crossing at exactly the right moment.
Then there is the slow safari: an afternoon watching elephants at a waterhole, the light changing for two hours. A bush lunch under an acacia. A conversation with your guide about the termite mound architecture beside you.
