What’s Your Greek Island Style?

Mykonos is for party animals, Santorini for romantics, Corfu for bookworms, Rhodes for history buffs, and Crete for connoisseurs of outdoor adventure and Greek dance. PaxMore can craft your perfect getaway in any of these isles.

Located less than four hours by ferry from the port of Athens, Mykonos is famous for its whitewashed windmills and the best nightlife scene on the Aegean. It’s been a popular destination since jet setters first discovered the island during the Swinging Sixties.

Santorini just might be the world’s most stunning island. Many of its iconic blue-and-white buildings are perched along with the remains of a giant volcanic caldera that collapsed into the sea. Be sure to pack a camera, because everywhere you turn there’s an incredible vista.

Located on the western side of country near the confluence of the Adriatic and Ionian seas, Corfu adds Venetian and British influences to a solid Greek pedigree. Over the years, the island has served as a Mediterranean home-away-from-home for many prominent English writers like the Durrell family.

Rhodes was once home to a colossal statue of Helios, the Greek sun god, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The giant metal effigy was destroyed by 7th century AD invaders. But Rhodes still boasts plenty of other relics including a walled medieval city built by the Crusaders and the exquisite Palace of the Grand Knights of Rhodes.

Samaria Gorge National Park and other pristine ravines draw diehard hikers and nature lovers to Crete. But the big, elongated island in the southeast is also fabled for its traditional music and dance, as well as the place where Zorba the Greek and many other movies were filmed on location.

Decide which Greek island style is right for you and contact PaxMore to make all the arrangements.
