Clarke Micah Dhana

Born into a family of hospitality professionals, Clarke Dhana had tremendous opportunities from an early age to explore some of Africa’s most exciting destinations. After growing up in the remote town of Maun in northern Botswana, she lived within hearing distance of thundering Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and on coffee plantations curtained by views of Mount Meru in Tanzania.

During Clarke’s university studies in Mauritius, she became especially interested in travel, culture, and photography, capturing much of the Indian Ocean island from her lens. She earned a BA in Social Sciences focusing on the African context. While exploring a marketing career in Kenya, Clarke realized that working remotely allows one to travel more freely and she now specializes in digital marketing.

As part of the Emerging Destinations team, Clarke creates and shares social media content that showcases the unique experiences of the cool companies and places that we represent.

Fun fact: Clarke was sneezed on by a zebra as a child.
