Atua Enkop Africa

The Atua Enkop Africa collection comprises four small and exclusive camps located in three prime game-viewing areas: Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, Samburu National Reserve and Maasai Mara National Reserve. The name means “from the earth” — or more broadly “out of Africa” — in the Maa language of the Maasai people. This uniquely African quality is reflected in the ambiance of all four camps.

Each camp is perfectly placed to ensure an unforgettable game-viewing experience. They are not fenced-in — as Atua Enkop Africa believes that animals have the right to use trails which were exclusively theirs for centuries. As a result, the camps provide the ultimate bush experience, while security and safety remain of paramount importance to the vigilant staff.

Elephant Bedroom Camp Samburu National Reserve

Set along the Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu National Reserve, Elephant Bedroom Camp offers 14 spacious tents with rustic and colorful African touches, and modern amenities like private plunge pools. The simplistic elegance, luxury and style provide an astonishing safari experience.

Mara Ngenche Safari Camp Masai Mara

Mara Ngenche Safari Camp occupies a spectacular location in the heart of the Maasai Mara, a small, intimate, and luxurious camp overlooking a hippo pool that’s always bustling with the large, graceful animals. A fusion of modern African décor and old-world charm, the 12 well-appointed tents are ensuite, partially enclosed within their own boma, and equipped with a large bathtub and outside shower.

Tipilikwani Mara Camp Masai Mara

Situated on the banks of the Talek River, Tipilikwani Mara Camp offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere that overlooks the mottled plains of the Maasai Mara, where vast herds of wildlife co-exist with the Maasai people. The 20 tents enjoy river frontage and are decorated with warm, rich African colors. Excellent food, personalized service and traditional Kenyan hospitality complement the prime location.

Mbweha Camp Congreve Conservancy

Nestled in the spectacular Great Rift Valley on the private 6,400-acre Congreve Conservancy beside Lake Nakuru National Park, Mbweha Camp offers 10 rustic lava-stone cottages with thatched roofs. It’s only a few hours from Nairobi yet feels far away from urban life. Activities include hiking, mountain biking, night game drives, and forays into the bird-rich national park.

Elephant Gorge Camp Amboseli National Park

The latest addition to the collection, Elephant Gorge Camp lies just outside Amboseli National Park in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. This intimate, boutique property features only five rooms inside a conservancy managed by the Big Life Foundation. Camp experiences include guided bush walks and birding, Maasai cultural encounters, game viewing in open-sided vehicles and campfires under the stars.
