It’s Whale Watching Season in Ecuador
August 13, 2024 - Less than a minute readDuring the summer and fall, the Galápagos Archipelago is honored with the presence of one of its most gentle and massive visitors.
More than 6,000 humpback whales migrate to the waters between the Galápagos and the coast of mainland Ecuador to feed and breed in the warm tropical waters.
In addition to a chance to spot whales during its various Galapagos cruises, Enchanted Expeditions also offers a four-day program to Machalilla National Park that includes whale watching.
Located between Guayaquil and Manta, Ecuador’s only coastal national park protects various habitats including two offshore islands with similarities to the Galapagos.
