Gulet Cruising the Turquoise Coast
March 29, 2025 - 1 minute readWhat’s a gulet? A traditional Turkish wooden sailboat. Similar to a schooner, they are normally two masted and somewhere between 45 to 100 feet long.
More importantly, they’re the coolest way to explore the fabulous Turquoise Coast, that big bend in southwest Türkiye that includes parts of the Aegean and the open Mediterranean.
Fez Travel offers three different awesome gulet options. They range from four to eight days and include a skilled captain and full crew. The vessels are outfitted with spacious, wood-paneled cabins with double beds.
These seagoing adventures start and end in historic Fethiye. While sailing between secluded coves and pine-studded islands, there’s plenty of time for swimming, sunbaking and relaxing. All meals are cooked and served for you.
Although the itineraries vary, they include stops like the the famous Ölüdeniz lagoon, St. Nicholas (Gemiler) Island, the ancient city of Kaş, Simena Castle and the Kekova Sunken City.
