April 20, 2025 - 1 minute read

Answering the call for a mid-luxury tented safari option, GVI Expeditions has unveiled its new Selati Wilderness Camp in South Africa.

A serene bushveld retreat nestled within the expansive Selati Game Reserve, this exclusive tented camp is consciously designed to minimize environmental impact. Shaded by the majestic canopy of a sycamore fig tree, the camp ensures a personal and undisturbed experience, allowing guests to fully relish an authentic wilderness encounter.

Accommodating up to eight guests in four Mero tents with ensuite bathrooms and outside showers, the camp is ideally suited for small groups or families wanting an exclusive GVI Expeditions experience.

Adjacent to the legendary Kruger National Park, Selati Game Reserve was established in 1993 by likeminded landowners who came together to create a private conservancy with an enduring legacy by conserving and enhancing the biodiversity of the ecosystem through the astute and sustainable management of its resources.
