Exquisite Dining at Mara Siana

Mara Siana takes great pride in its global cuisine, prepared in our camp kitchen by a highly skilled chef and cooking staff, and served in a rustic yet romantic open-air dining area with outstanding views of the African bush (and whatever animals happen to be wandering by during mealtime).

The day starts with a picnic breakfast that might include cinnamon rolls or lime & coconut muffins, bacon or sausages with eggs, fruits and cereals, and coffee or tea.

Lunch always includes a choice of salads and a rotating menu of savory dishes like pasta, pizza, curry or quiche and a selection of light desserts. There’s afternoon tea, of course, served with chiffon cake, pineapple upside down cake, or another tasty confection.

Dinner is the culinary highlight of every day with roast leg of lamb, pan fried lake fish, Swahili-style chicken, and grilled steaks, plus our special African feast on Sundays. Mains are always complemented by seasonal vegetables, gourmet potatoes and a variety of delicious soups.
